Maryam Sabir joined the Muslim community in 1975 and has been an active member of Imam W. D. Mohammed community since that time. I have believed and never since doubted. I married and August, 1983 and is the mother of 4 children (1 son and 3 daughters), retired employee of the State of New Jersey after 34 years of service; previous entrepreneur of Haggar Halal Kitchen in Newark as well as Maryam's Cafe in Maplewood; Board member of Masjid Waarithudeen in Irvington, NJ.
